More than 190 new cards appear in the introductory edition of the ninth generation of Pokémon. Some of them are inspired by the popular Scarlet and Violet video game series, such as Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. The Scarlet and Violet edition also features a new card design and reintroduces popular Pokemon ex cards. Each Booster pack contains different types of cards: 4 common cards, 3 uncommon cards, 2 reverse holo cards, 1 rare card, 1 Pokemon TCG Live code, and 1 basic energy card. If you're lucky, you might come across one of the 12 rare Pokemon ex cards now included in this edition. In total, the Scarlet and Violet edition contains more than 190 cards with a unique design characteristic of the ninth generation.
